The 38 remedies each help with a certain mood or way of behaving – for example, with fear, loneliness, worry, depression, or with difficulty in making decisions. They can therefore be helpful with all the problems we might face in life – changes such as moving house or having children, stress at work, bereavement, divorce, illness etc. We do not all necessarily react in the same way to events – some of us might struggle on without complaint, some of us might have given up hope, some of us might feel very alone and afraid. So, when choosing remedies, it is important to consider how we feel about our circumstances, and that will lead us to the right remedies to help. The remedies can be taken singly or in a mixture of up to 7 at once.

Bach Flower Remedies
There are 38 individual Bach Flower Remedies, to cover all aspects of our emotional state and help support and regain balance and health. These tinctures are made exclusively by the Bach Centre at Mount Vernon. They can be taken alongside any other form of medication. The remedies are perfectly safe for people of all ages – including children. They can be taken individually or combined to make a personal treatment.

Choose the remedies you feel you need at the moment to support you emotionally (up to a maximum of seven remedies). You can then either add two drops of each remedy to your drinks, as you need them, or mix a treatment bottle for convenience.
Directions for use
Take a 30ml dropper bottle and add:-
· Two drops of each of the remedies you have chosen
· A teaspoon of alcohol or wine vinegar as a preservative (optional)
· Fill the bottle with still spring water.
Label your bottle with your name, the date mixed and keep a record of the remedies you included.
The dosage is 4 drops 4 times each day. You can take this directly on your tongue or add the 4 drops to any drink. There is no maximum dose, so on any day when you feel under extra pressure, you can take the remedy frequently, without any risk of overdose.
If you are taking the minimum dose regularly, your bottle will be empty in 3 to 4 weeks. You can then review your choice of remedies and remix a new bottle.

As well as the individual remedies there is Rescue Remedy, which can be combined with other remedies or used on it’s own – whenever we need rescuing emotionally!
Bach Flower Remedies - Personal Mix
I can mix you a personal treatment bottle and post it to you with full instructions. This 30ml bottle of up to 7 blended remedies is mixed with pure spring water and has no preservatives added, therefore it is suitable for three weeks. The dosage for the Bach Flower mix is four drops at least four times a day. There is no maximum dose and you cannot overdose or become dependent on them. So, if you feel particularly pressurised emotionally, simply take the four drops more frequently. During acutely stressful times you may need to take Rescue Remedy too. The remedies can be taken directly onto your tongue – or simply add the four drops to any drink.

Why would you need a mixing bottle?
You may find that more than one Bach Flower Remedy is
appropriate for your situation and you can combine up to 7 remedies if
required. With this mixing bottle you can select your own blend of
Bach Flower Remedies and make up your own treatment bottle.

Directions for use Once you have chosen your remedy or
combination of remedies, add two drops of each remedy into the
30ml mixing bottle. Top up the mixing bottle with still
mineral water. Simply take 4 drops 4 times a day until relief
is obtained. This is the minimum dose, you can take more if
required, you cannot overdose or cause harm to yourself. You
can either take the drops directly from the pipette, in which
case do not let the pipette make contact with your mouth as it
will contaminate the contents. You can also add the 4 drops to
a glass of water or any liquid of your choice. A made up mixing bottle will usually last
for three weeks. It is at this point it is useful to
reconsider your choice of remedies to see if the same ones
still apply. |

Re-Using your mixing bottle.
You can re-use your mixing bottle. Simply take the
bottle apart, wash the rubber bulb and plastic top in hot soapy water,
rinse and leave to air dry. Put the glass bottle and pipette into a
small pan of water, bring to boil. Boil for 10 minutes or so.
Carefully drain the pan, remove bottle and pipette. Leave to air dry
on a clean sheet of kitchen towel.
Each mixing bottle comes in a box together with 4
labels to label your personal blend of remedies.
